Cypress 25/ 26

When it's absolutely too cold

Day 41 - Checked out Crazy Raven only to discover my tracks from yesterday were frozen over. Lucky I went for my Crazy Raven session yesterday afternoon instead of waiting for today.

Anyway, made the best of the morning with Sky Chair (hero), Humpty Dumpty (good) and Lower Horizon (hard pack). Most of the groomers were hard pack this morning.

Day 44 - Hero groomers just got better and better towards noon. Softened for spring hero conditions. Shredded Jasey Jay, Cascade and Lower Fork (all groomed) with Jens and Patrick. Great to see Dmitry and Brian there too.

Day 45 - Morning of mixed conditions with Francis and LeopardSkin. Groomers (Upper Fork, Football Field, Panorama, WindJammer) on Eagle were good. On Lions side, Sky, Humpty Dumpty, Horizon were fully of cookies. Collins bumpy. Best run was Hutch - softened perfect for grippy turns.

Cypress OSR. A dusting of fresh 7-Eleven Slurpee. Drizzle. Lower elevations sticky like velcro. Foggy. The hill is empty, obviously.
Come on up!

Day 46 - Morning of misery. Rain gradually turned to wet rain. Heavy but manageable at top then sticky half way down. Best run was Jasey Jay. Panorama + Windjammer were least sticky ... tons of carve 360s

Tuesday report.

Hill opened early at 8:40.
It was snowing fat flakes all day, and it's still dumping.
The reservoir is full, despite the snow guns on full blast since yesterday. Maybe they tapped the creek for the water supply.
All the ugly spring corn snow is covered with fluffiness. Runs ranged from decent groomers to mini-pow. Lift line around 10 secs. Alpine temp -4.

Today's rating is 1. There was one car in the ditch :D
