When it's absolutely too cold

Day 47 - Epic day. With fresh snowfall yesterday and overnight Bowen (x1) and Rainbow (x4) were sketchy at the top but surprisingly nicely filled at the bottom. Checked out Hutch (x1) and Cascade (x1) with some disappointment. Finally, scored 8 loops from Upper Crazy Raven (x8) and Lower Olympic (x8) with 30 cm of beautiful freshies - getting deeper with every loop. Long day from 9am to 2pm.

Day 48 - Arrived an hour late hoping yesterday's Crazy Raven / Olympic was still in good condition ... nope ... it turned to crust overnight. Instead, did my obligatory 1.5 hrs on the groomers firm with patches of hard pack.

Day 51 - A morning of hero groomers that lasted to 11:30. Amazing carving conditions on Jasey Jay, Lower Fork, Cascade and the Football field. Wait times were surprising civilized compared to yesterday.

Regrettably ended the day with Crazy Raven which was a mix of thin crust and epic fresh.

Saturday board demos. FASE! Demos also on Sunday. Weirdly, it was not insanely crowded, even though it was sunny. Snow was typical spring conditions.

The Sunrise Park, under the old Sunrise Chair (now renamed Lions Chair), has been newly built.

Today's rating is 14. There were fourteen ski poles revealed underneath the Lions Chair.
