Arrived at English bay to wind but with uncertainty where I would launch at with what gear. This was due to the lowish tide that was continuing to go lower. Alton pointed out his advantage of just having the kite option :) . Went with the wind foil and 3.7 sail out of Locarno for a nice session in warm temperatures. The predominant gear out there is now definitely wing. Pretty decent turn out.

Solo session at Acadia. Pretty light W 15-18 so had to really work my 8m+surfboard. Small knee high waves but super smooth water - perfect for almost 2 hrs of hero gybes.

I didn't manage to get out on the Tuesday but it had arrived late Monday night and it was seriously good out there. Managed a new PR riding the Spanish Banks bumps for 2:36 and came a little too close with some big ass sea lions on a couple occasions.

Great glides, what foil are you on? Do those parawings get you upwind pretty well?

I’m on my Axis 1300v2 which is 1650 sqcm and 10.4 AR. It was definitely too much at times.

If the wind is just right my upwind is almost the same as wining (35°) but if it’s light or gusty that drops to 20-25° and if it’s really light it goes down to 18°
